community education

Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS) staff frequently attend community and cultural events, schools, philanthropic groups and other forums to increase awareness about domestic violence, its dynamics, impacts and prevention. We have the resources to set up an information stall, provide interactive activities or informally present to a variety of age groups, on topics such as:

  • healthy relationships
  • types of relationship abuse
  • what to do if a friend discloses that they are experiencing domestic violence
  • where to seek support
  • general information about our service.

Please contact us if you would like to make further enquiries.
