support link

SupportLink is a referral framework that allows Police, Government and Non-Government agencies to work together for the benefit of people requiring assistance in all regions of Queensland.

Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS) have recently joined SupportLink and are now able to accept referrals around Domestic and Family violence through the Supportlink system. Referrals are made by Police through the SupportLink system for individuals who identify as wanting to access more support from the community. Once BDVS receives a referral we are able to make contact with individuals and talk with them about their current situation. We are able to inform them of the services that BDVS offer that they may like to access or send out some further information and contact numbers should they require them in the future.
